We are a tiny, private preschool located in Radlett, a stunning community. The current manager took position in 2006 after Christchurch Nursery was founded in 1962. The Nursery is situated in a gorgeous, carpeted church hall that also features a great, sizable enclosed yard. Improve the growth and education of youngsters who are not yet legally required to attend school. As they begin their obligatory schooling, children should be assisted in achieving the Early Years Foundation Goals. Work within a structure that guarantees equitable opportunity for all kids. A high adult to kid ratio enables individual care and attention. a DfES-designed pre-school curriculum that is specifically geared toward foundational learning and is overseen by OFSTED. Through ongoing observation and evaluations, the development of children and their future educational needs are determined and recorded. Each term, progress reports are completed and preserved in the individual Learning Journeys of the kids. All parents are welcome to talk about their child's development at the conclusion of a session or by appointment. On request, Key People will be accessible. A key person system is in use at the preschool. Your child will be assigned a member of staff who will be in charge of the initial time of adjustment; this will allow your child and his or her key-worker to develop a bond. The key person for your child will also be in charge of writing down your child's weekly updates and maintaining a developmental record. Every child has a unique Learning Journey. The end-of-term progress reports, notes, photos, and the occasional creative item will all be kept in here folder. Parents can access these learning experiences as needed, and we then provide them to the family on their last day with us.
