In accordance with the government's "Early Years Foundation Stage" recommendations, we ensure that your child is secure, content, and prepared to learn through play at Chesil Bank Pre-School.
Each kid is treated as an individual, and we support their development by being kind, persistent, and rewarding them while providing them with a growing understanding of social norms.
We place a high importance on outdoor play, spending a lot of time riding, climbing, playing in the sand, scooting, running, and taking care of our garden and allotment area.
Since we are located in one of the most picturesque areas of the UK, we frequently go on "seasonally themed learning walks and expeditions."
With dress-up, play dough, a home area, painting, crafts, numerical practise, shared reading, and songs inside, we have a lot of fun.
We even have a Baby/Toddler group once a week so you can arrive early and transition to the Pre-School without any trouble! We will assist with the transition to primary school once your child is old enough to do so.
Our most valuable asset, besides Strangways Hall's magnificent surroundings, is the employees. All of our staff members, including the committee, have had DBS and Ofsted checks. Two of our staff members hold relevant degrees, while the others have Early Years credentials, and we all stay current with frequent courses and studies.
Due to the small pre-school enrollment, all staff members are friendly and available to provide individually personalised care for each unique kid as needed.
Since they understand that what we offer is rarely accessible in other settings, many of our parents travel from outside of the area where we are located. Therefore, get in touch with us to schedule a visit if you believe your kid would benefit from the distinctive and inviting care of Chesil Bank Pre-School.

They walk to St Catherine's Chapel, they have an arrangement to visit Abbotsbury Swannery and Abbotsbury Sub Tropical Gardens every 2 weeks, at no cost, and participate in the Explorers Club. The children also have their own allotment in the village and a huge outside space behind their 2 huge...
