We are a privately operated pre-school that offers local families high-quality, affordable daycare. The care of children ages 2 to 5 is covered by Caterpillars' registration with Ofsted. In February 2018, Ofsted gave us a Good rating, which makes us happy.
The fact that we are a small nursery with a session cap of 22 attracts parents. We get to know our kids really well, and they develop deep relationships with the staff. Caterpillars makes sure that no kid is overlooked. Every youngster is given particular attention.
We work with a top-notch group of professionals that have a lot of training and early childhood experience. We have extensive expertise working with preschoolers and understand what it's like to be parents in today's hectic society. We assist behaviour using the intriguing and ground-breaking Thrive method (see menu on Thrive).
To ensure current information and advice, our practitioners participate in frequent training. Our main goal is to provide kids with a welcoming, enjoyable, sociable, engaging, safe space to play and explore. Children begin to understand what it means to work as a team, develop social skills, and learn how to share. The personnel in our pre-school are kind, accommodating, and skilled at helping young children. The manager has an Early Years Level 6 degree, and the bulk of our personnel are qualified in childcare.
We offer FREE 2 year old FEET funded places, 3-4 year old places and the 30 hour childcare. Check eligibility at Funded early education for two year olds (FEET) - Surrey County Council (surreycc.gov.uk).
We offer free snack, free access to Tapestry learning journeys, free early years education. There are no top up fees.
