The Early Years Foundation Stage provides direction for both development and education (DfE 2014).
By offering engaging activities that are age-appropriate and catered to their stage of development and interests, Cambourne Pre-care School's and education support kids in continuing to achieve this.
To ensure that the care and instruction we provide is appropriate for your child's specific needs and interests, your child's key person will collaborate with you.
By regularly observing them, your child's key worker will gauge how they are growing and learning.
Based on our continuing development data, we produce periodic evaluation summaries of children's progress.
When a child is between 24 and 36 months old, the Early Years Foundation Stage mandates that we give parents and caregivers a brief written review of their child's progress.
Each child's achievements are recorded by the preschool.
One method the key person and parents work in partnership is via staff and parents working together on their children's success records.
The accomplishment history of your child enables us to jointly celebrate his or her successes and to collaborate in order to meet your child's needs for wellbeing and future growth.
The goal of Cambourne Pre-School is to provide and uphold the safest environment for kids to learn and be cared for.
We hold the view that child abuse of any type is never acceptable, and we acknowledge our duty to protect the welfare of all children by committing to practises that do so.
Cambourne Pre-School is required by law to assist in protecting kids from potential or actual serious damage.
Our pre-employment school's policies protect children from the possibility of abuse, and we have a process in place for dealing with staff member complaints or allegations.
If, after a child enrols in preschool, we have concerns about any element of his or her development or progress, we will discuss these with you and may ask your approval to seek assistance from outside organisations and professionals.
Children with special educational needs are encouraged to become autonomous and assume responsibility within the preschool because we offer a dynamic and encouraging atmosphere with resources that are age-appropriate.
Should we be unable to reach you in an emergency, you will also be asked for a contact number for someone else.
If we are unable to reach you, we shall make arrangements for medical care using the previously signed consent form.
Please be sure to keep us informed of any changes to your contact information.
In order to obtain authorization to administer and store the drug on site, a certain medical form must be filled out.
If your child has a known medical condition, e.g. asthma or febrile convulsion, please use your own judgement as to whether or not they should attend.
It is important to notify the pre-school if your child contracts any infectious disease, in particular German Measles.
If your child becomes ill in session you will be contacted and asked to collect your child as soon as possible.
