The non-profit organisation Buckles & Bows Preschool Nursery was founded in 1977 and is operated by a committee.
The nursery is a part of the Preschool Learning Alliance and certified with Ofsted (an important advisory body for the Government on Nursery education).
The Buckles and Bows Preschool is dedicated to preserving and advancing the welfare of kids and teenagers.
We think kids can learn a lot, and with the correct support, they can all advance in their education.
According to us, pedagogy that is effective is a blend of several methods.
Sometimes they allow children to create their own play by giving them the time and space to do so. Other times, they participate to delicately encourage and further the learning of the kids.
Children in the early years can also learn in groups while having their learning directed by professionals.
A thoughtfully designed learning environment, both inside and outside, is a crucial component of pedagogy.
At Buckles and Bows, we collaborate with kids, parents, and the community to ensure kids are safe and get the best start in life.
We make an effort to provide a friendly, safe environment where kids are appreciated and valued.
Our goal is to create a culture of safety where children are shielded from abuse and damage in all circumstances.
As a registered charity, we exist.
To buy new toys, books, and equipment, to pay for the kids' birthday parties and outings, and to cover unforeseen costs, we need to raise money.
Over many years, parents have made a significant financial and non-financial commitment to the nursery's success, and this effort has to continue.
