Harriet D'Cruz and Janine Brockiner founded Bright Start Day Care with the shared goal of providing children with a learning environment in which each child could reach their full potential.
Since the middle of the 1980s, Harriet and Janine have both worked in the early years field as nursery nurses in a range of early years settings. They have also trained numerous adults and children to earn their early years qualifications.
Their mission is to provide children with a child-centered curriculum and a safe, nurturing atmosphere where they can play and learn while they grow and develop into unique individuals through child-centered and adult-led activities.
Many of the employees in both settings have had training from Harriet & Janine, and it is genuinely their philosophy to give each child with exceptional care and development within the EYFS Statutory Framework (Early Years Foundation Stage).
Our knowledgeable staff designs experiences and activities in accordance with the EYFS based on the child's interests and in collaboration with parents.
Our Stanmore and Harrow nurseries are both rated as Outstanding. There are two reports available at https://reports.ofsted.gov.uk/provider/16/EY319302 and EY496412. Additionally, we provide a summer camp for kids up to the age of 7 and a half.
