As a result, children in our care are encouraged to solve problems and think critically through being set tasks that challenge their minds whilst also feeding their imaginations.
The chosen charity we support at Bright Minds is NSPCC West Midlands as a result of the fantastic work they do for children in the community; helping children whove been abused to rebuild their lives, protecting those at risk and finding the best ways of preventing abuse from happening.
In 16/17 there were 2,606 sexual offences against children under the age of 16 recorded by police in the West Midlands.
3,247 children were subject to a child protection plan and there were 6,045 children in care in the West Midlands.
The NSPCC estimate that across the UK, for every child identified as needing protection from abuse, another eight are suffering abuse.
Bright Minds Daycare will hold fundraisers over 2018 with the aim of raising money for the NSPCC West Midlands to help them continue the critical work they do.
