Santa and his helpers paid a visit to the kids at Bright Horizons Tunbridge Wells Day Nursery and Preschool just before Christmas.
The youngsters couldn't wait to see Santa and get their unique gifts.
According to Nursery Manager Becky Bushell, the kids spoke about the gifts they planned to set out for Santa on Christmas Eve as well as the items on their wish lists.
As part of the organization's Creative Cooks programme, young learners at Bright Horizons Bank Street Day Nursery and Preschool in Canary Wharf recently made their own holiday cookies.
Each youngster made a cookie as they went along, learning about the components and how they combine to form the dough. They assisted in weighing out the materials on the scales and learned how to read numbers and measure things.
To help them enhance their physical development, fine motor, and gross motor abilities, the kids utilised a variety of equipment to prepare cookies. The youngsters were able to develop their mathematical language through this activity's emphasis on communication and language.
In celebration of Creative Cooks Awareness Month, which took place at the daycare centre during January, the young learners at Bright Horizons Port Solent Day Nursery and Preschool recently prepared their own scones.
The month is all about understanding the importance of healthy living, nutrition and hygiene, while Bright Horizons Creative Cooks programme aims to encourage creativity in cooking.
