Indoor and Outdoor Facilities: The children take walks in the community and spend large amounts of time outdoors. They take a picnic to the local park and playing fields, where they have plenty of space to run around. The staff provide children with a wide range of sports equipment and games to play, to help strengthen their muscles and enable them to burn off excess energy.
Activities: The manager and her team plan the play environment based on children's current interests, which encourages them to engage in their play. They plan activities based on current themes and events, such as Easter and spring.
Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Staff position themselves at the children's level. They ask them questions and have conversations about what they are doing. This enables them to extend children's knowledge and understanding during their chosen play.
Communication: Parents are extremely happy with the care provided at the holiday club and would recommend it to others. They state that the holiday and after-school club is a highly valued part of the community. Parents appreciate the continued support and guidance from the manager and her team.
Community Building: The management team continuously reflect on the provision and make necessary changes. They gain feedback from parents and suggestions from the children to highlight areas for improvement.
Welcoming and Professional Staff: Children are greeted by friendly staff, who ask them about their holiday so far. The staff build good relationships with the children in their care. Younger children seek out their key persons and call their names, inviting them into their play.

Box Kids is a handy after-school programme that is housed in the Jubilee Center in Box's Market Place.
Since Becky took over in 2007, we have been offering childcare to families. Since then, it has only gotten better.
We provide the finest calibre "wrap around" daycare for kids ages 3 to 11, and we are registered with Ofsted to care for kids ages 3 to 8.
We have plenty of time to play with all of our toys, play games, and interact with our friends.
For an additional $1.60 a day, we can provide your child with an evening meal to help with precious family time and free up time before bedtime.
Our most recent inspection, which took place in August 2017, found that we offer high-quality child care and was quite complimentary.
We give the Club an overall grade of Good and add that all of the kids and staff respect one another and that the environment is a very fun, loving, and creative place for kids to be.
The staff received accolades for offering a wide variety of scheduled activities that were stimulating and fascinating to keep the kids occupied and aid in their growth in all areas.
This and all we accomplish is something we are incredibly proud of.
All children in Box Kids' care between the ages of three and five now follow the new Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which connects to nurseries, pre-schools, and schools.
In September 2012 and September 2014, the framework underwent revisions.
Since the April 2017 change to the framework, we are no longer required to execute EYFS Teaching, Learning, and Assessment, but we will keep an eye on the kids' growth and share any pertinent information with other settings.
Every month, we do one observation and connect it to the traits of successful learning.
Regular youngsters between the ages of 3 and 5 will go through a learning process. We monitor kids as soon as they start to assist us get to know them and help them feel at home.

We have a high staff-to-child ratio of 1:8 and we are very proud of the calibre of our childcare. We also occasionally work with a lower staff-to-child ratio by adjusting the adults to the requirements and ages of the children.
To protect the safety of both the staff and the children, all employees鈥攊ncluding volunteers鈥攗ndergo a DBS &/or CRB check and complete an extensive introduction.
I began working with kids in 2001 and have done so in a variety of capacities, including playgroups, childminding, babysitting, and leading Brownie and Rainbow Groups.
I work as a teaching assistant at Box Primary School in addition to Box Kids.
I've always wanted to work with kids since it's such a great career, and I can't think of any other job I'd prefer.
