The Bishopston neighbourhood of Bristol is home to Bishopston Beanstalks, a pre-school with a GOOD Ofsted rating that is situated on the busy Gloucester Road.
As a not-for-profit workers' cooperative, we are an independent setting that has been run by our staff team since 2013.
We offer a vibrant learning atmosphere, emphasise learning via play, and offer brand-new experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
To provide a high degree of care for all children, staff members also receive training in safeguarding and child protection, first aid, and food hygiene in addition to their high level of childcare/teaching qualifications.
Churchtown Beanstalks Pre-school takes a maximum of 24 children per session, with four practitioners and an Office Manager/Room Support worker present each day.
We can create strong connections between the child's home and the setting because these essential employees visit with parents and caregivers on a frequent basis and have discussions with them.
We offer youngsters a choice of open-ended activities to explore during each session.
At Beanstalks, kids can select from a variety of activities, including chances to improve their athletic abilities, small group time with their key person, a chance to stop by our snack cafe, as well as having a lot of fun.
We are eager to get the kids involved in their neighbourhood, so we frequently take walks there and take them to local stores and establishments.
Our goal at Bishopston Beanstalks is to meet all of the needs of kids.
