From the Bill Quay Pre-School
In 1990, Bill Quay Pre-School first registered with Ofsted. In October 2008, we received charitable status as a limited company. Our headquarters are at Bill Quay Primary School. We have access to many of the school's amenities, including the school hall, school field, and garden areas, although being completely independent from it. We now have our own completely enclosed outside play area thanks to a capital grant we received from Gateshead Council. The reception class also makes use of this space. Over the course of the academic year, we are open five days a week. The sessions last from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Sessions can be run as a complete 6-hour day or divided into three-hour chunks. You are allowed to bring lunches from home. We have 3 full-time employees and 1 temporary employee. Parents who are not eligible for the 30 hour entitlement must pay $13.00 per session for any additional sessions over the 15 hour entitlement. The cost of fresh fruit, milk, juice, water dispensers, and other refreshments is $1 per session.
