Our Early Years Center, which was first established in 1960 as Garston Playgroup, has grown to be a well regarded and well-liked childcare facility.
Prior to September 2005, when we changed our name to Berrygrove Pre-School as a result of the merger of three nearby schools, we were known for many years as Lea Farm Pre-School. Berrygrove Early Years Center is now who we are.
Since then, we have made a lot of effort to forge close ties with The Grove Academy, and as a result of the school's conversion into a children's centre, we have created a Full Daycare programme to complement our sessional Pre-School.
Our goal is to offer the highest-caliber daycare that is also flexible and inexpensive. In order to do this, we provide an atmosphere where kids between the ages of 2 and 5 may recognise and realise their entire potential.
For two-year-olds, we maintain a staff-to-child ratio of 4:1, and for three- and four-year-olds, it is 8:1. At least 70% of our team members are Diploma in Preschool Practice certified.
With Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance plc, we have complete employers' and general liability insurance. In the lobby, you may see the most recent certificate.
We are a part of the Early Years Learning Alliance, a national nonprofit organisation that offers assistance and guidance to preschools. The PSLA's established constitution has been accepted.
