Multicultural Beechwood School is housed in a stunning Victorian structure with spacious, light-filled rooms.
The pre-school education and childcare we offer at Beechwood are of the highest calibre, with a focus on the happiness and wellbeing of both our students and their parents.
We recognise that children must mature and achieve independence, and we give them a warm, protective, and secure atmosphere in which to do so. A full curriculum is available at Beechwood School, and we strive to give students a strong basis for entry into both state-run and independent primary schools.
To ensure that the kids learn to respect all cultures, including their differences and similarities, we observe all significant holidays and cultural days. We intend to hold plays and concerts so that the kids can showcase their talents and aspects of their cultural heritage.
Some of our kids don't speak English as their first language, and they get irritated when they can't pick things up as quickly as some of the other kids. These kids were able to learn in a quiet, undisturbed environment after we set up a temporary sensory room. To continue providing this quieter setting as needed, we intend to set up a permanent sensory room.
