Darren and Genevieve Smith, a husband and wife pair with more than 18 years of combined experience working with children, are the owners and operators of Bears House Day Nursery.
The nursery's manager, Genevieve, has a level 3 CACHE Diploma in early childhood care and education.
Bears House was registered in April 2015 and is governed and inspected by OFSTED.
Our goal is to offer inexpensive daycare of the highest calibre.
From the term after their third birthday, we provide all 3 and 4 year olds with free sponsored sessions.
Funding is limited to 15 hours per week during term time only (38 weeks of the year).
Additionally, we provide those 2 year olds who qualify with free paid sessions.
For the kids to play in, we offer a protected outside play area.
In order for us to effectively fulfil your child's particular requirements, we believe it is crucial to engage closely with the families of the children in our care.
You are welcome to bring in home-made pictures, observations, paintings, drawings, etc.
Please feel free to supplement your child's education in any way you see fit.
Each kid will have a key person at Bears House.
It is the key person's duty to establish a positive rapport with each key kid and their family so that they are well acquainted with their key children.
You will be informed of your child's key contact when they begin school at Bears House.
The key person assigned to your kid will be in charge of planning their educational journey.
Each child's family has access to these at all times.
Most of our staff members have at least a level 3 childcare certificate.
