From the Barton Playgroup
The grounds of Barton Church of England Primary School are where the playgroup meets. Although we work apart from the institution, we have extremely close ties to it. Many kids leave the playgroup and enrol in schools after that. Each child is evaluated and encouraged to advance at their own speed as we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. OFSTED inspects and approves of us. Our Prospectus provides more information about our overarching guiding ideas and philosophy as well as specifics on how we conduct business. The Early Years Education Funding Scheme pays children for the term after the one in which their third birthday falls. Each child is granted 15 funding hours, which they may use as they like in two settings. We charge a fee for each session and Lunch Club attended for students who are too young to receive support. A three-hour session costs 13.50 dollars; this fee will rise to 14 dollars in January 2021; and Lunch Club costs 5.50 dollars. A 50 non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve a spot for your child. If this turns out to be a problem, kindly speak with a staff member in confidence. Those who receive two-year funding are exempt from this. You can download our registration form here if you want to take part in the fun. You can also call us to set up a visit; we'd be delighted to show you around.
