From the Barneys Club
In order to assist parents in balancing the demands of their working day, Barneys Club was founded in 2001 as an after-school programme for neighbourhood children attending Barnabas Oley CE Primary School.
Barneys has expanded over the years, and we are now happy to provide Before and After School Care, as well as Holiday Club, to all children from the nearby Villages.
Whether you work or just want the kids to go have some social time during the lengthy school holidays, we are here to fill the day! We like to think of ourselves as the "Ultimate Play date," where your children can come along and be loud, have lots of fun, and hang out with lots of friends all at once.
Barneys provides a fun and secure environment where people can play, interact, and unwind.
We're an Ofsted-registered not-for-profit organisation run by a volunteer committee and we employ a professionally qualified Manager and staff.
Children in Reception grades are welcome at Barneys Club until the end of Year 6.
To allow all children to play, learn, and develop naturally, provide an environment that is joyful, safe, warm, and stimulating.
Encourage a good relationship between parents/caregivers and Barnabas Oley School and collaborate with them to give their kids high-quality play and care.
Provide inclusive services that are available to all local youngsters.
In the Autumn term, we conduct an AGM so parents and caregivers may learn about everything we've been doing.
We're always looking for motivated individuals to join our welcoming committee, and new committee members typically join us at the AGM to contribute to shaping Barneys Club's future growth.
