We are a privately owned nursery that is registered with OFSTED and located in a sizable renovated house. We are well situated to the west of Reading for quick access to Reading Town Center and nearby districts.
There are 60 kids registered for the nursery.
We offer a secure and nurturing atmosphere where your child can develop and flourish.
The nursery assists and hires students pursuing level 2 and level 3 childcare certificates.
Paul Lynch, the nursery's owner, hired Alison to set it up in 2006.
Since earning her undergraduate degree in 1990, she has worked in daycare.
At the nursery, Alison serves as the child safety officer, safer recruitment officer, and behaviour officer.
Cheryl started working at the nursery in 2011 in order to earn her level 3 childcare certification.
Nadia has completed an online course on child sexual exploitation and has a level 2 award in food safety.
Nadia also oversees the nursery's health and safety, carrying out all risk analyses.
In 2009, Graham started working at Barn Owl as a level 3 trainee.
Graham is a deputy safeguarding officer and currently holds a first aid certification.
While studying for her level 2 in childcare, Callie joined Barn Owl in 2017. She passed this exam in 2018 and stayed with us to finish her level 3 in July 2020.
Once certified, Callie continued with us and now works two days a week in the toddler area as a registered nursery nurse.

Our main goal at Barn Owl is to give kids a joyful, secure, and stimulating environment.
We adhere to the seven learning areas outlined by the Early Years Foundation stage to make sure kids have the chance to learn from a diverse range of toys and activities.
