Attwood Farm Nursery School, which was founded by HRH the Countess of Wessex in 2001, is housed in a stunningly restored 16th-century barn on a 100-acre farm in the Wealden hamlet of Bodle Street Green, East Sussex.
The nursery and pre-school has functioned effectively for 19 years and has a great reputation. It is based on the principles of the Montessori teaching approach and is conducted in a conventional manner.
Attwood Farm Nursery School, which is privately operated by Nick and Lindsay, aims to make every child's day a memorable, action-packed educational experience while utilising the farm to tie in with projects and the always shifting seasons.
The kids can take care of little animals, feed the ducks and chickens, feed orphan lambs, and have the freedom to run around in a secure setting.
Both the East Sussex Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership and Ofsted have registered the Attwood Farm Nursery School.
When it comes to learning, growth, and welfare in the early years, the Montessori teaching methodology fits very nicely.
The meals are well accepted by the parents and are appreciated by the kids.
Each kid is registered for our online Learning Journey after completing the registration process, which uses the internet.
Every parent has access to every detail of their child's day, development, and observations on a daily basis.
The nursery teachers are informed of the parents' home activities, vacations, visits, and significant developmental milestones through this Learning Journey.
Your child's Learning Journey is sent to you through email as a PDF and Zip file once they graduate from Attwood Farm Nursery School so you can download and preserve it.
