From the Artemis Hollington
In 2007, Artemis Nursery was founded. Originally situated in St Leonards, it has since grown to include two more facilities, one in Hastings and most recently one in Hollington, as a result of its popularity and significant rise in clientele. The owners and operators of Artemis Nursery are Emma Buggy, her brother Dominic, and sister-in-law Lee.
Emma has been a certified nursery instructor for more than 18 years. She has degrees in both early childhood studies and early years and holds the status of an early years teacher.
Our first of three nurseries, Artemis St. Leonards, debuted in 2007. The Artemis St. Leonards hotel is located close to the Warrior Square and St. Leonards train stations and is housed in a sizable Victorian home with a cosy family atmosphere. This is our smallest nursery, with a maximum capacity of 30 kids at once. Ofsted 2015 just gave Artemis St. Leonards an Outstanding rating.
Near the Ore train station, Artemis Hastings has taken up the entirety of a three-story house that was once a dairy. We have three different rooms here that are separated by age groups and a hot tub room that provides extra space on wet days and space for adult-oriented events.
A former church hall that has been expanded and converted into Artemis Hollington's headquarters can shelter up to 70 kids. The age groups are separated among the three main rooms and the two outside play areas. Children have plenty of room to explore, play, and grow at Artemis Hollington since it is well-lit and huge.
