Children in mixed-age groups can gain a lot from learning from and with their peers.
Children form close relationships not only with their key workers but also with other staff members at the nursery, minimising disruption when they switch age groups and get a new key worker because they are already accustomed to this person.

Having worked in the childcare industry for 20 years, I'm thrilled to open Swinton, where I live, as Rotherham's first Forest School Nursery.
